News Ambassadors needed for Gamescom

Hi everyone,

We are looking for ambassadors for Gamescom in Cologne from August 5 – August 9.
To be considered for an ambassador role you must be over 18, free on the dates listed, familiar with the game, based in Germany or one of its neighbouring countries, able to travel to Cologne, and willing to have a really good time.
We’ll also need people who are fluent in German and have a strong grasp of the English language.
To apply, please send an email to community@frontier.co.uk, with your name, date of birth, address, and reason why we should pick you as an Elite: Dangerous ambassador for Gamescom.
We will cover transport costs, accommodation and approved expenses. You'll also get a pass to Gamescom (sold out) with time to explore the show floor throughout the day.

Hey, Ed! Dont you need someone with polish, russian and english? I dont speak german, but neither do a lot of Poles and Russians and they will be there. What do you think?

I already have tickets for gamescom and will be there on August 6 - August 7. Also I'm only 17 :/

Is there a way for me to apply too (I'd love to help out)? No matter the answer, knowing you'll be at gamescom this year will grant you another visitor, that's for sure ;)

Oh man. I can't wait until they broadcast for any events in the US. Would love to put on a good show for spectators and tell everyone what an amazing product this is. Already campaigning locally to bring awareness to the game and I'm not even on payroll! :) Hope the show goes well.

That is very gracious of the developers to offer a role like this to the patrons. Unusual, but unique and trusting of the gamer base. Definitely a notch in my book! Good luck to everyone and anyone who applies for the position.

Any idea, on when we will know anything? as if I am selected, I need to schedule time off from work etc...
