Ambience speakers broken?

Is it just me or are the ambience speakers broken in the full release? They've worked in the beta but now I can not hear any sound from them, no jungle birds or anything, just nothing like they are muted. The other speakers (information and music) still work fine. And yes, they do have power.

Oh... I thought it was just me. Nope, ambience speaker not working, obviously. f you as well hear nothing

I am only able to hear the ambience speakers if I put my camera literally right on top of it so that it's the only thing in my field of view. I think that it's a volume issue more than it completely not working at all, but I've only used the 'crickets' ambience and it may differ between the different white noises.
