AMD 6000 series thoughts?

So I am currently using an RX580 and probably will take the plunge very soon on something new.
Thoughts are shifting to a 6700 XT but any 6000 series is a possibilty.
So any advice from those using this series of card.
Thanks.

Other than the issue with drivers after 22.5.1 I've had no problems with my 6800. It's happy enough with the game at 4K 60Hz, if using ultra settings then to achieve 60FPS in the location in the spoilered image requires FSR 1.0 / Ultra Quality. Without using FSR, Update 12 gives c. 43FPS in this location (not the specific station but the position in the station, which I use for easy repeatability for framerate comparison between updates).

Performance at these settings in Odyssey settlements suffers a bit - but not so much as to make it unplayable (for me at least).

There are new GPUs on the horizon and the potential for prices on current generation parts to drop even further, but if you need a new GPU now, it's hard to argue with the price/performance ratio of the 6000 series.

However, if Elite: Dangerous is your main game it's probably worth waiting a week to see how Update 13 reacts to AMD's recent drivers.

Been watching the GPU prices closely and it's good to see them tumble.
May just hang on for a few more weeks, been waiting over 2 years now anyway, lol.
