That worked for before AMD replaced their Catalyst driver with the Crimson one, and subsequently got rid of the easy-to-use settings in Additional Settings, with the completely unhelpful Custom Resolution settings in their revamped Radeon Settings GUI.
If I try to set a resolution of 1920x810 in order to achieve the cinematic 21:9 aspect ration on my 16:9 ratio 1080p monitor thus...
Then I am met with a "The custom resolution settings are not compatible with this display" message.
Now obviously I also need to alter various other things on that panel, such as one or more of the various timing settings.
I'm wondering if anyone else with an AMD card has managed to do this, and if so, what numbers they used?
