American Grassland - eternal daylight.

I've opened a new franchise (which means I cannot change the daylight manually) and ... it's been seven years of daylight with no night, weather changes, afternoon/morning etc. Clear sunny skies and 95 degrees - my weather man is out of business! The clock is going and animals are breeding/aging etc. So ... anyone else used this new skirt and have they noticed an issue with day/night cycles?

edit: Saving and reloading seems to have solved the problem. Now I have a beautiful night sky. This new biome skirt reminds me a little of the sandias in New Mexico.
