Hi all so I realised suddenly during a mission that my gun runs out of ammo pretty fast and as such left me jumping around in low grav trying to evade enemies while cutting into a panel. Now I looked in the shop you purchase weapons thinking ok... I can buy ammo - no.. so... where do I get ammo? thank you.

Ammo auto-refills when you board your ship, and there's also ammo crates scattered around settlements. Look for an icon on the minimap that looks like bullets in a box.

You can also refill ammo in your SRV.

The good thing is, we never buy ammo. It appears to be free.

The only time this becomes a problem is on scavenger missions where there is no settlement (and no ammo crates)

You have your ship right there. Just lift off and belly flop a few times on their heads.

Yeah, I know.... and the SRV is even easier (if it's deployed, at least). Im just lazy and don't want to wait for 2 blackscreens (board and depart) just to reload...
