Ammonia Worlds Near Colonia

Greetings,

While there has been activity in the pleiades that last month or so concerning the thargoids, such news has not gone unnoticed here in Colonia.

I can't speak for any given faction out here as I am just an independent pilot. However, as I've read in a book somewhere

"A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences."

I know that these thargoids seem to like ammonia worlds. So I have taken to making note of any I see near the Colonia area. I am not the most prolific explorer but even so I have found one, but that one was only 2114.7 ly from RatraII. I am sure there must be more.

Here is a google spread sheet I made up to keep track of these discoveries. It was originally going to be for listing interesting tourist locations to attract tourists to the Colonia area. Now that there is a threat out there, it is for being prudent in forseeing danger.

EDDB to the rescue! :p

There are about...
  • ...100 AW recorded within 100ly...
  • ...1000 AW recorded within 1000ly...
  • ...1700 AW recorded within 2000ly...
...of Colonia, with the closest being just 8.14 ly out.

Looks like you/we have some ground to cover :D

I recently did a bunch of data crunching for some stat analysis. One of the things I discovered was AW are most likely to be found around F, G and K stars - each around 1% chance. So add 1 AW for every 100 of these star types. [woah]
