Amount of lifts in hangar and station different

When you leave apex taxi in Kippax City System Gabia you see two lifts in hangar and four in the station.
Seems for me a bit of unlogical.

Here you see the amount of elevators in hangar:

And here you see the amount of elevators after arriving up in the station:

I am sure this is same on other stations.

Since the elevators don't travel in straight lines [1], they don't need to be the same numbers at each end. Any entry point can lead to any exit point.

[1] They only look like elevators.

Or most other Sci-fi franchises that have them. The only one that I can think of that only has vertical lifts is Star Wars.

If you watch the Fleet Carrier interiors video you can see that one lift can lead to exits that are in different areas so that is correct.
