I have been thinking a lot about the beyond update and how Frontier are talking about it and there is also the talk of premium content for 2018. It got me thinking about Horizons. Imagine if in early 2015 before the release of Horizons Frontier had spoken about the update in a different way. Imagine if they had said something like this.
"In 2016 we will continue to bring updates and content to Elite Dangerous in the form of improving upon what we have already built. This will be a series of updates that will also include new content.

That thought made be rethink what next year might bring.
