i myself would like to see some sort of que for pvp and in this que you do not have to pay for repairs it is isolated from normal space and only accesable via the que say maybe 10v10 with a ship size filter or not either way but if they did this then the immersion whiners wud have a hissy
Pity it was an Asp Commander on his way back from an epic 8,000ly expedition to the outer reaches with data on a thousand worlds, all meticulously scanned and catalogued.
Built for exploration he had little in the way of shields, with all that exploration, hull was nearly gone from exposure to deep space wear and tear and the final blow his last port of call was a small outpost on the fringes of known space.....

Not bothering in the first place would have been the correct action. At least noting his name first would also have been good. Hoping he'll visit the forum, see your thread and then put two and two together is a pretty distant third.
