An easy annoyance to fix with the Galaxy map....

Ok, so I know this is a small annoyance, but I can't be the only one that thinks it is annoying.

Why does the Galaxy map default to the Economical route instead of fastest?

Small annoyance but it really gets on my nerves.

That one's mildly annoying, I agree, but the thing that really grinds my gears with the map is the way that it resets the view after every time I look at a System View. Well, that and the fact that I can't set multiple waypoints to plot my own route, and the way that the colours for allegiance seem to be a bit messed up, and the fact that I can't append my own notes to system info... actually, there are a few annoyances, now that I think about it a bit!

But hey, it looks lovely and, let's face it, it's full of stars!

Just a minor niggle, and changing it back to "fastest route" quickly becomes a routine.

I agree though, it would be welcome if they could make the player's route planning choice "stick".

Remember "fastest route" preference in galaxy map.

Agreed, this is a minor niggle but it would be nice to have the option to set 'fastest' as default, or for the game to remember your preference.

Also if you could save favourite routes or something...
