An entire day of work and 2 mil cr gone

I just lost 2 mil cr because I was killed by a station. I was leaving a station in my imperal clipper when an AI sidewinder decided it was a great time to go in I felt a bump then 13000cr bounty added for killing so and so. Now the station is shooting at me so I puched it to get away and killed a hauler who decided the safest place was in front of me and boom your ship has been destroyed by So and so station 2 mil to buy it back.

Ouch, painful experience. On the other hand if you keep your speed under 100 both inside and up to the end of the zone outside the station you will never incur a fine or bounty. Either way sorry for your loss.

After you exit the station, you can accelerate at will, collisons after the mailslot area are extremely rare.

I really think the system should be fine the idiot running into someone else. not fine the person run into

i have been hit and then fined because i was "Speeding" never mind the other guy was going WAY faster and hit me...

OP, it happens sometimes.

Earlier in the week, I lost a Python while on a smuggling run. I boosted out of the mailslot like I normally do, except this time an npc hauler was right in front of me and I couldn't turn fast enough. I ram the npc and I get a reckless flying fine. A few seconds later, the ship blows up and I get a murder bounty on me. Still close to the station, I try to boost out of the no fire zone range and die in the process.

I lost a FDL two weeks ago to the same thing.

This is not a ticket-able thing. I mean you can do one and I wouldn't be surprised if they refund you but really. You broke the law and someone died because of it and the station killed you for it. Sure you can say it was only an NPC but what if it would have been a CMDR? Oh ya..DoctorHotWings...can;t read your post without highlighting it.

Ah two more players who thought the rules didn't apply to them

AHiredGun - if you would have stuck at the 100kmh speed limit you would still have your clipper - fancy that!

DoctorHotWings - you were smuggling, you took the risk, you lost.

Of course you can both do the now standard thing of submitting a ticket, it seems that FD Customer Support is actively supporting stupidity and creating a no risk game.

There is a speed limit now for a reason, could have been a player.

Earlier today I got rammed by a Clipper, flown by a CMDR, my hull went down to 61 %. At least I know he has to pay a fine now, even better if he had killed me he would have been dead as well. I was going my usual docking 98 m/s.

Great system imho.

Damn you are a better pilot than I am, whenever I BOOST OUT OF A MAILSLOT I just can't keep the speed under the limit .....

I did not boost out either I was doing my standard leaving speed of 70kph (got to be careful as it's to wide to fit sometimes). Also I was on the xbox version gamertag amercenary4life. Now I admit I am a complete noob at piloting large ships so I'm saleing my clipper and hoping to buy something. ...smaller must meet following qualifications less than 35 mil cr cargo 120t+ jump range 15ly+ ability to defend itself effectively and have a max fuel range of 180ly
