An idea for the "News and updates" section.

I don't know if it's just my OCD kicking in or not but it is really starting to irk me that, upon seeing the news and updates change to a red icon indicating a new post, it is not in fact a dev dishing out magical goods in the form of patch notes or announcements of incoming goodies. What I find instead is that someone has necro'd a 10 day old post with nothing decent being added.

Could we pretty please have the news and stuff a dev place only with a link to discuss the article that takes you to a separate thread?

a galnet news section with specific threads about each article of universal significance a reasoanable idea but should be seperate from the general forum where everyone starts their own thread
