An Idea for Tracking Warzones / Conflicts

I'm a fighter pilot and I like to know where the current combat zones are. Unfortunately atm even with forum topics and secondary websites for tracking warzones I usually end up missing the fight lately.

So my idea can be done fairly easily. Details would be more annoying to update daily but listing basic info should be pretty easy.

Add a new footnote to the daily Galnet post that lists all current system conflicts and who is fighting who. GalNet covers the Empire, Federation and Alliance right? It's realistic that the news would add updates on current wars across the galaxy. Which have ended and which are flaring up or dying off. So traders can avoid and combat fighters can converge. Smugglers, Mercenaries and Pirates can make use of the chaos of war as well. Usually in warzones I find more missions to collect illegal goods. Or missions for supply runs which some pirate could then raid XD

You could even go as far as making a seperate warzone tracking page/system on the frontier website and have a link to it in the GalNet posts. I don't care if it shows up in game, the forum or something else.

I think this would improve the game for alot of players easily and would get more players involved in more conflicts.

Yes I thought of suggesting that. Which certainly could be done. However we already get several GalNet posts per day so why not one more or a little foornote addon?

It would take awhile for them to add it to the galaxy map. Writing out the code and fitting it into the code for the galaxy map... I know enough about coding to know that could be alot harder than it sounds and that's if it goes smoothly (no unforseen bugs or glitches which seems unlikely given the size and scale of the Galaxy Map as is).

Hence why I suggest the the GalNet method. Quicker to implement and much easier for the Dev team. Leaving them to focus on the bigger stuff like powerplay features, more ships ect ect
