Oh lordy...

Just remove the label "limpet" and replace it with "Nanorepair bot controller" and lash it onto a utility mount. All systems must be powered down when it is active, and you are on emergency oxygen. Pilot should not be able to move ship at all during this process. That way the pilot has to really think how many systems he should target for repair. Too many... da da da dummmmm. Deadski.

Might be an opportunity to bring in things like "Conduits" "heat dispersion systems" and so. Easy peasy to implement as you only need a data sheet for each ship atm. Might match with the concept art of the pilot himself welding things up in ten years or so.

After all, id cream myself for the opportunity to - in a decade or so, be able to work my way around the engineering of my ship fixing and tweaking things... no more engineers.... YOU are the engineer!!!

I got rather excited with that idea. Perhaps even a hydroponics lab and so. Decorating your ship with a lurrrve lounger... etc... A minibar...

How do you lot see your baby's future??? Think it can ever grow up or are you eternally stuck in that seat?
