An in game editable Note Pad

I think an In game editable note pad would be a good idea and not too much trouble to create. Just somewhere players could make there own notes. I know lots of people like me who have scraps of paper with item prices on them all over the place, would be great if all this info could be kept within the game instead of bits of paper everywhere.

We have said many times that the screen between our legs in the ships would be awesome for this. To have it like a pilots logbook where you can write things, have a search filter input field and operate it like the other screens with "QEWASD" buttons. Would be so nice to write down trade routes, things to remember etc. Not sure if FD got plans for that screen since its always off and look a bit weird that way (that its non functional i mean).

Do you have it set up to pin to the front at all times? How so, I must jury rig this for a temporary solution.

I believe by "second window" he means another monitor. A dual display would allow you to do this but from my experience, it causes a lot of client lag unless you have a good rig.

An in-game notepad would be a welcome addition to the game although, I'd prefer to see that screen between your legs used as a viewport for up/down/left/right/rear views outside of the ship, especially useful for docking if you could look down.
