an interesting article: "Minecraft + Roller Coaster Tycoon = Planet Coaster"

Well I wouldn't give too much credence to anything Cracked says. For one they are a comedy site, but for two most of what they say nowadays is based on how many clIcke they think they'll get for saying it.

All publicity is good publicity. Unless you're getting panned like a certain other coaster game.

perhaps I've used the wrong title for this post. they actually put it in a good light. the name of the article is "6 Games You'd Have Killed For As A Kid, Coming Out Soon"

To me, Planet Coaster is like that. Microsoft acquired Minecraft for two point something billion dollars. I play Xbox 360 and Xbox 1, I have a full friends list on Xbox 360, and Minecraft is like the most played game currently on Xbox 360. In Minecraft, you get to play with lots of friends and people, be creative, and survive without being killed by monsters, and watch out for other players who may try to greif or steal or harm your pet wolfs or cats. I did get RCT3 off Steam earlier this year but asked for a refund as I needed the money for this game, and Steam gave me a refund. Planet Coaster has amazing graphics, great ideas, and fun AI. Even though it's single player, the game is so fun, and with the fun AI, you I guess you can say the AI are your friends. Otherwise since Alpha 3, Planet Coaster is integrated into Steam so you get to share and download other people's creations and your own creations.

Sorry, but I don't see Minecraft. Two totally different games with different end results.
Dude ... It's metaphorical [bored]
PlanetCoaster has a powerful modular building tool, allowing considerable freedom in building.
The new generation of video games must be : modular, procedural and open. And the game that best fits and is the most popular to describe this trend is undoubtedly Minecraft.

They could have said "TheSims + Theme Park World = Planet Coaster" or even "Lego + Roller Coaster Tycoon = Planet Coaster" the idea behind would have been the same.
Compare PlanetCoaster to Minecraft is a very nice compliment [yesnod][up]

Oh Cracked, you usually get so many things wrong in your list articles [haha]
And Planet Coaster is RCT, not the addition of any other game, becuase since 2 it has always had building stuff, its only that this time it even lets you have more liberty with it, but sitll uses exactly the same foundations for it. But I suppose its easier to create click baits and the understanding of a younger generation if you use the word Minecraft in your wording.

But the best part of it has to be using my park in the article and dont even giving me credit for it, only a link to olli43 that is showing the park. Thanks Cracked![downcast] Not the first time they dont give proper credit to someone in their articles, and not the last time.

And to give it the final touch...
You see, in this, you get to build EVERYTHING. For example, the game's not even out, and someone has already recreated the DC section of Six Flags pretty much block by block.

Yeah, no cracked, thats not a six flags park, at least, if you are not going to give me credit, get the facts right.

At least publicity is going to be good for Planet Coaster, becuase cracked is read by a lot of people, and that's what counts at the end.
