Engineers An inventory question

Hello,

On the inventory panel, (right panel on the ships display HUD), there is a section called Data.

Is this data to be sold, stored, or something else? There is only a capacity of 200, and I would like to know the use of the Data items.

its a separate category of items you get for scanning things (at least thats what i got them for so far), the engineers want them like every other commodity and somehow they wipe the flash stick everytime you give them said data.

Sorry for the maybe dumb question - What "engineers" are you talking about? Where can I find them?

Correction .. found them .. a new UI part ... almost perfectly hidden :-/

If you don't have horizons, you don't need to worry.

Well ... apparently I have Horizons - including all updates - and after further looking around I found them in the UI .. hidden ;-). Now for some short travel of 70 Ly ^^
