An Island version of the square maps (without the mountain backdrops, just endless ocean)

I was watching the latest video by Rudi Rennkamel as we are slowly approaching the release of Update 8 and the Cretaceous Predator Pack. He decided to make a skull island, and it got me thinking.... would it be possible to have an alternate version of the square maps where there are zero mountain backdrops, only endless ocean?

I think it would be a nice approach for players wanting to reinforce that they could build their own island. I often see content creators and community members make mini island designs with the square maps thanks to the large size, and the only fault I keep seeing is that they are confined to whatever landmass the maps are set in.

I think it would be fun for players who want to make custom islands, especially those who like the complete isolation that comes with having an island, and especially for those who grew up and liked making custom Islands on JPOG. If these maps could be tied to the endless ocean with shallow water around the border, it would make for some awesome island-inspired maps that genuinely feel like a floating landmass in the middle of the ocean.

The closest experience I have to building on an island is with Malta's DLC map: Santaegidus Island. It helps sell the island feel well, with a buildable space that is less than 1/6th of what the square maps could offer.

I hope this could be considered for a future update, it would make for an amazing sense of isolation, and with the size of the square maps in the game, players could modify the terrain with enough room for mountains, rivers, and mini archipelagos.

An island map where the coasts are accessible to place marine species like the natural lagoon from the Malta DLC. I would imagine the map would be smaller than the square maps, but would be a map surrounded by water. Maybe even have island maps using the existing biomes in the game. All maps would have accessible beaches and coasts. All would be flat or at least non mountainous.
