Real World Theme Parks An Update video on Star Wars land at Disney

It looks stunning, I really hope for lots of actors walking about too. It would add such an amazing level of detail on top of what already it looking amazing.

They still are not showing how it will really look when all is placed in the park.

I do not like the idea of the placement it has, IMO it would have been better to have trashed extensively the behind part of tomorrowland, finally getting rid of the polluting autopia, only leaving submarine voyage (and, an idea I alwsy love to say, turn the old innovations building into a carrousel of pregress type of ride again, but with Stark industries sponsoring and basically being an iron man ride in disguise of showin future real inventions to people.
And even if it looks very naturalistic instead of spacey, its still sci fi, and being behind big thunder mountain seem very otu of place to me.
And now you are going to have lone star wars ride in tomorrowland, and a star wars land in a completly different part of the park.

At least they are not destroying Toontown, as some rumors predicted at the beggining.

I agree that it would have been better placed near Tomorrowland, it does seem awkward behind Frontierland but I'm sure they will do a good job of transitioning in the park. Afterall the Fantasyland to Tomorrowland doesn't really have any transititon.

It's not going to be completed for another 5-10 years anyways.

Meanwhile as Universal, they're weeks away from opening The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- and now there are rumors that they are bring Diagon Alley over as well... but that's also another 5 years away.

I always felt that Fantasyland created a great border between the old adventures of Frontierland and Adventureland and future feel of Tomorrowland. And Matterhorn next to submarine boyage creates a great bridge between fantasyland and tomorrowland, becuase of the use of colors and themes.
In undertands why the went with the pplanet they went so it didnt looked that bad against the back of frontierland, still, you already have a space/future land with even a Star Wars attraction, use it.

Similar, not really, but they have planned some cool things :

- An update of our "Star Tour"
- "Jedi Academy" instead of "Captain EO"
- Renovation of our "Pizza Planet" (Cantina ?)
- Retheming of the right part of discoveryland (Just a rumor, but I think it's true)

But, I guess they are really focused on "Walt Disney Studios" for now (to integrate, even more, the Pixar and Marvel universe)

Wow that would be really cool. I am going in 3 weeks and I cannot wait to see how everything changed since the last time I went (16 years ago).

Wow !!! Since 2000 ? A LOT OF THING !!!

The second park "Walt Disney Studios" just with "Crush's Coaster" and the "Rock 'n' Roller Coaster", two amazing darkcoasters, Ratatouille, the best darkride ever, the Tower of Terror, and a new land based on Toy Story, It's worth it. And "Buzz Lightyear’s" (a pretty cool shooting dark ride) in the first park too.
