Anaconda and CZ

Finally got the money to have a Conda now, and have kitted it out like this to do a bit of everything while I get my cash up once again.

I've never been a fan of the CZs in small ships, due to as soon as you select a side; it was like the NPC just goes "KILLZ ZE HUMAN!".

Now I've got a big ship, what weapons would you suggest I pack; while baring in mind I like doing BH too.

Any Conda pilots got any loadout tips?

I always tend to use pulse lasers and auto cannons.

I have 3 C3 gib beams on top and bottom. 2 F2 turreted pulse on the front A4 plasma accelerator on the big boy and 2 gib MC's on the smalls. I've got 30 MW of power to play with so a B7 shield gen A6 FSD C's & B's for everything else that's important. Chaff, shield boosters and point defense.

Based on what I have been dealing with at the CZ in LTT 874, you are going to need very bit of that in there! lol! That CZ is marked as a "Low Intensity" zone, but it sure looks and feels like one of the more intense HIGH intensity CZs I have ever seen!

Most of the NPC Condas I see in there typically get owned by swarms of smaller ships, which is what I look for before I engage one with my Python. All in all, I am impressed by how tough the NPCs are in this CZ as part of the Emperor's Dawn CG. Its like night a day compared to how the NPC ships fight and hold up in your typical USS or Strong SS. At least I very rarely loose my shields against NPCs there, but I am constantly getting very close every single time I enter that crazy CZ at 874!

Its fun though! I love a challenge and that is one of the more challenging AI situations I have worked with for some time.

Your Conda load out is a good one! Very similar to what I have on mine, but I prefer to fight with my Python. Flying an Anaconda in a CZ is kind of like walking around with a KICK ME sign on your back!

I've been there, took a day off for trading yesterday, but will be back all day today. I'm currently in the top 5%, but going for that top spot! If your around, stop on by LTT 874 is so beautiful this time of year! Haha, kick me sign made me laugh! The conda def. takes some getting used to. It's crazy when you have 5-6 NPC's attacking at once. PIP management is a must to fly this ship also learning when to boost in battle. See you out there commander!
