Anaconda blew up. Now back down to a Sidewinder... :-(

I’m so sorry, Richard Giddings!
I didn’t know you had no insurance on your vessel, but perhaps you should have thought about that before becoming a wanted criminal…
You thought it was fun, flying around with your pew-pew and harassing my allied ships in the local Resource Site until I planted my Vulture on your thruster wake and watched as you exploded into smithereens, yelling something about turning me into space dust.

So shortly afterwards, there you were again, but this time in a little Sidewinder. Desperately trying to mine some asteroids for a few measly pence to begin your career again.
I thought about giving you a friendly railing across your starboard bow, but you were clean and I didn’t feel like taking the fine. I figured you’d learned your lesson.

Let’s just hope there are no other pirates around to cause your life a misery in the same way you caused others.

I simply dont know how people can imply ED is boring when things like the above go on. How great is that, on both sides of the equation. Perhaps he rebuilds and comes after you. Non scripted means you have to create your own fun. That is not boring, that is great.

+1 rep for that.

Lost my Anaconda on Sunday in a "flying tired and lost control of forward momentum" incident in station. Six million credit re-buy and I'm back in the saddle. But that's what makes the game! Risk and reward. If you fly without paying attention, you crash.

Anyway, since Sunday I've been away on business and only got to play again last night, but Winged up with some other dMw's (www.deadmen.co.uk) and started doing some Palladium trade runs with dividends and made a couple of million last night (two trips - I don't DO grind). Also took out my Fer-de-lance for a spin to Ballandin and found the trade mission had completed, so another two million there, plus a couple of hundred grand for a brief visit to the High Intensity Combat zone...

Looks like the Spear of Lugh mission has finished as well this morning, so I should stand to pick up another 12.5 million tonight. Easy go, easy come. Life in the Elite fast lane!!

Glad you had fun taking out the Anaconda. I have occasionally seen an NPC more than once, but not under those circumstances.

There is so much to do in this game, there are not enough hours in the day.

Yes, here is another perfect comment talking about the variety and excitement to be had in ED, all without Grind, but with a little "Anaconda Station Incident" thrown in :).
