Anaconda down but not out.

Darn it, not even had my new baby a week and managed to slam it into a station:eek:.

Never try and watch TV whilst trying to dock at max speed:).

Took my eye off the screen for a split second and BAM its all over.

Thankfully after reading so many crashed and burned without insurance threads I took heed and made sure I had the reserves to cover such self inflicted folly's.

The reason I was flying so fast, gun running fines:mad:.

All trading gains gone:mad:.

Back to the grinding with eyes firmly fixed facing forward:).

Doh! Well at least you had the insurance to cover it :)

Bring your trading to the Empire we pay well ;)

Well looks like you done everything by the book, so making this not another; 'I've lost everything' post. So good luck making up the loses and remember, that most things 'will' move for an Anaconda, but not stations?

Arry.

T-9s don't move for an Anaconda. Learned that in the slot of a Station. I had more time and the better shields - station destroyed the T-9 just in time for me to get out of the slot (4s till the station would have opened fire on me).

Has anyone else noticed how docking computers, simply pretend that other ships are not really there? They just carry on, regardless.

Arry.

Yep - just had my first genuine Anaconda station crash yesterday - had a few bugged ones - got refunds on those.

All my fault - upgraded thrusters to A class and testing out the higher speeds. Missed the slot entry and crashed into the station the guard rails. Wasn't expecting a destruction, but had plenty of insurance buffer to cover it - about 3 hours of trading needed to recoup the losses.

I am not looking forward to my first Anaconda hull loss, 25+M. Cr. in insurance (this with 20% off hull and a mix of 12.25%-20% modules). That's 4-5 hours of trading in a trading Anaconda that's no longer equipped for it, so 5-6 hours in my T-9...

Had mine for a few days and they aint easy to get through the cat flap are they? Got to aim high so you dont scrape the bottom and overdo it and scape the top instead...

I just smashed my Python against a station because I thought I could play some game in my phone while docking. Lesson learnt.

On the subject of ships and station contact. Can we land on the outside of a station or star-port? Someone must have tried this? With insurance of course.

Arry.
