Anaconda Huge Hardpoint

Whilst messing around in outfitting I decided to purchase the 19 million credit Plasma Accelerator. The thing is frikin huge!! Am trying to compare how big it is to something here on earth, it's defintely bigger than a 18 Wheeler.

As usual 2D shots cant get the scale across properly. Am standing a few feet away from it in the rift, my jaw dropped when it deployed from the hardpoint

I guess if you could hit something it would be devastating

I got one mounted, 11M Cr or so 20% discounted. Yes it's huge, although my final build will probably forgo it for a Fixed Cannon. Still nice to see on the outfitting screen

Just had a look at the shot in the rift and I have to say that (in addition to the jump range) is the reason I'm willing to trade in my Python for an Anaconda.

Call it midlife crisis ;).

Yep your right 13 mill, I was thinking of the turret Beam.

@Kirk, you are going to love this ship in the rift. You feel like a Captain on the bridge of a powerful warship.

Buy it from Khasiri if you can get the -20% discount. I believe I got mine for around 11 million there.

The thing is kind of hard to hit with but it wrecks every subsystem in its path. I've seen it blow up NPC Anacondas when I hit their thrusters with it. Seems like it does AOE damage to subtargets and can pop power plants as collateral damage.

So that's what that NPC Anaconda hit me with. I been hit with plasma's before but they only knocked out my shield.
Its the only time I lost an Asp.... Every system in my ship went offline, shields gone and a dead stop in front of the NPC Anaconda as it proceeded to destroy my Asp with its guns.
Was horrible....Oh the humanity!

I'd like to see someone film you fire that from the side. Curious if they put any fx to the power release of the weapon?
