this morning I saw a CMDR, don't know his name, inside dalton gateway at LHS 3447 in an anaconda. apparently he had a full unit of hard points with plasma accelerators and rail guns, he was shooting other CMDR ships, some escaped and some blew up. he had his cargo scoop and landing gear deployed, and even damaging ships severely and some instantly dead with one shot as well. I merely escaped with 22% hull in my cobra and a breached canopy...didn't risk to go back in

didn't FD fix some of the griefing for 1.1? of course dumb-fire missiles are nerfed now, so that's why he wasn't using them

He's probably abusing combat logging to escape death, report him please!

Or he is abusing the same thing that made grief so easy to do before dumb-fires where nerfed.

forgot his name, (i think i know who it was but naming and shaming is not allowed here) or something like that I may be wrong, might want to patrol dalton gateway to see if he's there so we could report 'em once he logs back on or whatever

The commander is most likely doing nothing against the rules of the game, just taking advantage of in game mechanics. Could also be logging in addition. However the primary way to station camp has little to do with logging.

There was a youtube video linked from here a couple of days ago of an Anaconda inside Lave Station doing this. No need for combat logging or hacks, simply using shield cells protected him from the station's lasers for about 15 minutes.

If I was an FD developer, I would want to be working on interesting in-game mechanics to prevent and punish such behaviour.

Remember to press F10 to get a screenshot if you see a CMDR name so you can report him. Even better if you use shadowplay to continuously record your monitor, so you can make video evidence to show the inadequancy of the station response. He's not even banned from docking. The video showed him receiving docking permission at Lave few minutes later!

To be fair, the video did show him receiving a 100cr fine for using weapons in a non-fire zone. Perhaps that will deter such actions

in-hangar station guns are too weak in 1.07. If FD did not fix this in 1.1, then they're to blame. If that player isn't banned yet, they're too blame.

Just now instead of a full hour of chaff, its now half. Woopie, good job Frontier! If only you made station turrets, well Turrets then this would be a none issue.

Peer 2 Peer is the source. Good luck with treatment, that's like a genetic defect. The game was born with it.
