Anaconda + Oculus Rift DK2 = A lot of involuntary buttock clenching and head ducking when entering and departing stations!


Hahaha! Too damn cool!! Thankyou so much FD! This space sim fully embraces the next step in gaming.. I cannot wait for the high res retail version of the Oculus Rift to be released for the masses with its even higher resolution.. Truly remarkable technology... Might have to buy a hard hat helmet so I don't duck for cover so much... :)

And flying in the Anaconda Bridge, you truly feel like your in one mutha of a ship..

I get this feeling in the Clipper, I inhale hard when going through the slot as I'm convinced I haven't left room for the nacelles. It's very cool with the OR :)

Damn you ;) watched a TrackIR video of the Anaconda and thought this would be unbelievable in the rift, managed to put it to the back of mind. After reading your post I want to try the ship in the DK2.

Did you try the Type-9 at any point, how would you compare the two? Type-9 with the rift is the ultimate big ship experience for me, but the Anaconda really seems like a true bridge to cruise the galaxy in.

Yes! the T9 was insane! All that Glass around you made it a pleasure to fly..

I do wish the Anaconda had an optional Sunroof Upgrade Module for even more visual splendour.. hint hint FD.. :)

But yes, the Anaconda just looks crazy... Its just soooo real... And I havnt scatched it once going into station as I did a bit with the trackIR... TrackIR is great, but the OR DK2 is just insane.. :)
