Anaconda pilot arriving at station, preparing to dock - EXPLODED for no reason

I just arrived at Mandjila, was turning to dock, full shields.....shields went offline and I exploded instantly......
Ticket #00000041057 but anyone know if this is a rare thing or happened before?

Did you lower your landing gear out in space? I've been reading lots of these threads and many of the spontaneously exploding commanders lower their landing gear a long way out from the docking slot.

Sadly not as I had heard of landing gear issues, I did it once I cleared the slot and was turning to my landing bay.
I'm also in SOLO not in OPEN don't know if that has any relevance.
