Anarchy but not

Does anybody know what's the deal with systems showing as anarchy on the galaxy map but then when arriving there is a controlling faction with a working government and an alligence?

I found out the hard way by shooting somebody by accident and gaining a bounty - in an anarchy! (Shongastyak to be exact).

Is it that we're all just too good at tidying up the pirates in anarchies and they're all becoming lawful?

Also... does anybody know the best way to pay of bounties when you're in a large ship? As outposts are out of the question.

Basically, the "non-working" background simulation is actually working.

People are doing a lot of bountyhunting lately if you haven't noticed. I other words, shooting wanted ships probably belonging to anarchy organisations, thus making them lose influence. Several anarchy systems have therefore lost their power status. I don't think the galactic view currently updates in realtime with these changes. I think a patch is needed to correct them for now.

Everyone needs to look up "anarcho-capitalism" to get an understanding of what anarchy actually is.
There is no reason why there wouldn't be bounties in an anarchy society. In fact, I'd say in inhabited anarchy space, one should have a much higher chance of encountering a bounty hunter because state operated police don't exist so private security would be there instead.

Quite possibly - but that's not what anarchy means in this game.

If you're in a system where the controlling faction is an anarchy government then you won't receive bounties - the problem is the galaxy map is saying systems are controlled by anarchy factions when they're not.

Indeed I would like to see a better take on anarchy systems in general, it totally ignores modern and historical anarchy societies and movements like the only thing the devs know about is that PURGE movie.

All anarchists wear black trench coats & black top/stovepipe hats, have greasy pale ashen skin, carry around spherical shaped bombs with the word "BOMB!" written on them & twist their waxed moustaches while laughing evilly.

True, only the system map is updated in "real time".

Well, in anarchy systems i go there's a lot of police if the system is inhabited. And if i shoot a clean i get wanted status immediatly. And ususally clean targets in anarchy systems are clean also after KWS.
So either they have changed something or i ALAWAYS end up in a system that is anarchy no more but the map was not refreshed.
