Newcomer / Intro Anarchy clarification?

So far I have been leaving dropped cargo because I didnt want to be wanted. I finally found an anarchy system. As I am bounty hunting and I pick up the cargo I can take to a station there and sell with no problem right?

After I pick it up and continue to bounty hunt in the non anarchy system will I instantly be wanted if I cam scanned and have stolen cargo? In other words will the feds immediately start attacking me for carrying it?

You will still have to sell the cargo in a black market as it is stolen, but having the cargo is not illegal and you should be fine.

In a non-anarchy system you will not be wanted if you get scanned with illicit cargo, but you will be fined. If you do not pay the fine off after 24 hours you will receive a bounty on your head and become wanted by the faction you owe the fine to.

Why would Feds scan you in a Anarchy system ?

they are lawless and full of pirates... they are more likely to attack you for your cargo

HOWEVER


take that cargo to a non Anarchy system and you will be fined if scanned.. (usually slightly more than the cargo is worth on the blackmarket)
