While most posts mentioning the black market in relation to BGS state that selling goods will undermine the faction there recently i came across "Anarchy factions treat smuggling goods at a black market as if they were traded on the open commodities market for the purposes of the Background Sim" mention in patch notes https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...a-2-Incoming?p=6362481&viewfull=1#post6362481. I was wondering if this applys to BOTH illegal and stolen goods or whether stolen goods could still be used to undermine an anarchy faction.

As far as we are aware you can't undermine an anarchy via its black market.
Applies to both stolen and illegal goods.

The only thing you can sell at a blackmarket in anarchy station is stolen goods. Blackmarkets won't take legal goods, and pretty much everything is legal in an anarchy.
That may not work either.
Anarchy controlled space is lawless, and most anarchy faction ships spawn with bounties so they are technically wanted - so killing them might not work.
Perhaps if you snag security ships, but honestly those shouldn't spawn and ought to be bug-reported when they do.

I back this up, putting an anarchy in rule and selling to their BM keeps their influence up.
FWIW as far as I know there are really only 2 ways to lower their INF, and several ways to otherwise affect them.
I've seen pirate faction security ships on same day when they become the controlling faction, after tick those were gone, however there are clean pirate ships(KWS scanned), all of them as part of a wing, where leader has a bounty and the rest are clean. Never seen solo ship from pirate faction that is not wanted.
