Anarchy no longer has black market

Or rather, it is still there (it probably can't be removed without rewriting everything) but it is now treated as a regular market.

  • Anarchy factions treat smuggling goods at a black market as if they were traded on the open commodities market for the purposes of the Background Sim

Perfick.

Seems like a reasonable compromise. Only anomaly is that you can now sell goods you stole off an anarchy faction back to that faction and have them gain influence for it. But that's fairly minor... the major loophole of stealing goods off an anarchy faction by abandoning their missions and selling the goods back to them without leaving (station? Or system?) is already plugged.

There should be a mechanic in play that will at least prevent you from doing that at the station you got the mission at.

does make sense?

Anarchy should in fact disable BM - there can't be illegal sales if nothing is illegal. I assume this can't be done for some technical reason, so this at least makes sales working according to logic - faction can't suffer from something that is not illegal.

In that case have a friend jettison cargo and scoop it up so it lists as illegal. Then take it to a Black Market to boost the Anarchy minor faction. Before long there would be Anarchy inhabited systems everywhere.

:)

That doesn't change that it would be considered a black market compared to the rest of the galaxy?

using the blackmarket has always damaged the influence of the station owner, disregarding its ethos. its unlogical that using the black market on a criminal owned would damage it.

at the same time, bounty hunting will have the reverse effect.

And what's the difference with having the friend jettison the items instead? :)

BM in anarchy now acts as a regular market so it's just as selling regular items.
