Anarchy Raid in Yembo.

Fine. Fire a limpet so I'll spill my cargo. That's fine. But true pirates only kill when they have to. They want to leave their victim alive so they can pirate them again. And in ED, killing me won't get you any cargo. The cargo goes up with the ship. This isn't Freelancer MP where cargo drops when a ship is destroyed.

Limpets are buggy and temperamental. Multicannons targeted at the cargo hatch are much more effective and much faster - speed being pivotal to a pirate's work. Of course the trade ship doesn't always survive the process. Very unfortunate, that.

You are wrong about one thing though: even if I destroy the tradeship, the trader can always get another - so, one way or another I can pirate them again.

Dang, I wish I was aroundd to try and help stop this mindless destruction of property. I may have gone through a few ships in the process but maybe some traders get away clean.

+1 for this sort of RP.

I think you are missing the point. If guy's want to hunt trade trips then fine, I lost 11 mill of cargo and insurance to a guy who definitely didn't want my cargo, the past few days have been a lot of fun in Yembo, I got lazy and flew a straight route to the station, so it's partially my fault.

The confusing bit is the apparent motive for this groups attack, it hasn't been thought through, they should just say 'we like blowing up freighters'.. The whole bit about using up supply is , the whole area is booming from trade supply's.

Anyway it's all good, trading in this area is much more interesting, you would have to be suicidal to come here in a T9. Screw solo, switch to a heavily armed trader and fight back. Wanna see he how these guy's ( or guy) deal with Anaconda's,Pythons and Clippers :)
Maybe the leader and his crew escaped from the looney bin on a near by planet? Would explain some things at least. :D

Yeah. I think he escaped from a Federation funny farm; or maybe an Imperial or Alliance one. Cause he's fruitier than a nutcake:D
