This is purely here to stop you wasting hours of your time, till FD fix it.

I have made a bug report in the BUG forum, but I do not know if it affects some or all Cmdrs, some or all Ruins, some or all Obelisk combinations. Some are reporting problems in my guide(in sig), and I decided to test it for myself,even though I did it successfully less than 2 weeks ago. I got unstuck after only 7 scans.

So, if you still want to do it, after every scan compare your scan result(notification tab above) vs what you think you should have scanned, also check Transactions tab for amount of current reward vs what you think it should be.

I,on the other hand, will wait for FD to investigate and fix it :)

Sorry to report that I cannot confirm this. Did a full run on my secondary account on July 6 and 7, and completed successfully, following your excellent guide to the letter. Did all the scans in a PG.

Nearly the same. I did following dognosh's guide except for 1 site (page 8 VELA DARK REGION KR-W C1-24 A 7 C, beta site). I managed to find the data of this site on one of the other sites mentionned in the guide.

As OP said, tracking discoveries is essential to efficiently do the mission ;)

Just to add my tuppence, i've just completed this exactly as per your excellent guide and given i'd just reset my save this was very welcome so many thanks! Yes chevk your progress but if you make sure you've get sum total of scans (in millions of reward) before leaving site all is good.
