And.... buzzcrash.

How you guys liking the update?

I'm enjoying the new features and especially controller mapping, but it has been pretty choppy for me and just crashed.

You guys happy so far and still hyped for Horizons?

P.S to fix controls you must enable the context controls in the menu. Strange if this was tested why it's off by default. ;)

Just buzz-crashed leaving Bass Port and heading into high wake. I won't report it as a bug unless I get another one

Seems mostly good to me. Had the issue with the button context menu being off, figured that one out.

Only had one crash to menu (transaction server error trying to come out of hyperspace).

That control thing needs a patch asap before people get angry.

It won't be an obvious solution to most people who don't navigate menus too well. Serious oversight there.

Hard reset won't switch the default context controls to ON. I'm inclined to believe we simply still have some bugs and considering the choppy system menus and outfitting input lag I'm having I'd be inclined to say we still have some ironing to do... :)

But I'll edit this in, I'm still happy we have 1.6. :)

I`mean the hard boot will fix the buzz crash, and the context menu you can activate in the control setup menu.

Indeed the outfitting center is a bit laggy, but that could be because of the massive server load right now.

I know, I was taking the opportunity to have a dig at the oversights with the new update.

Also, let's not defend the oversight with that option. This is something that simply wouldn't happen if I was overseeing any releases.

Anyone without a shield taking off and trying to raise their landing gear is in for a very big surprise when they boost instead into the station wall. Big problem if you're in a cutter full of expensive commodities.

This simply is a rant, and yes, it's an easy fix, but why did this even happen?

crashed twice so far once in the outfitting menu and once in jump space.
its laggy in the menu's and stutters a bit on jumps but the new update has bought some really good features into the game.

I think the dev's have done great and they will get the little glitches sorted out in time

That sounds like a BUG... you aren't supposed to be able to BOOST while the landing gear is DOWN! At least in my experience prior to today's update, once the gear is down then BOOST is no longer functional.

That's true, so my point probably sucks, but you catch my drift.

It's time we felt confident they are testing their content before releasing it. Horizons is very close now and without going near a planet I'm getting some choppy menu input lag, system map lag, and noticeable framerate issues.

Some things are smoother and more seamless, sound is vastly improved, but all the other little bugs are still happening. I got interdicted and the screen went full spasm and despite submitting I suffered FSD failure. I hoped that was going to be history.

Even headlook mode is goosed. I click it and it randomly stops looking and goes back to yaw.

Horizons soon and my confidence is utterly dwindling. I'd like stuff to work first!

Miko i so agree. I understand that with updates come some bugs. But frontier should be ashamed. This is embarrassing for a gaming company. Two update and two times we get broke crap. In the first 30 minutes of play after the update my game froze twice crash three times anf i got stuck in a interdiction. Why cant they update without major problems?
