Hi everyone,

Not sure how many of you are following my blog, but I wanted to shout this news as far and as wide as I could, because I'm THAT pumped about it.

I've finished my current edit of And Here The Wheel and the novel is ready for all my alpha readers. (You can see parts of the last few lines over on my website www.andherethewheel.co.nz)

Woop woop!

So for those of you who were brave (or convinced) enough to pledge your support of my novel to the alpha reading level, congratulations, you're all going to be the first people to read a novel of elite:dangerous* fiction.

I am going to tidy up the Word doc file and then I should be sending it out in a few days.

I hope you enjoy it. But right now, I'm going to go to bed because I am exhausted!.

*(I'm not saying 'official' elite:dangerous fiction at this stage as until the final edit gets final sign off, its not official).

Congratulations John... I guess that makes you the 1st with an actual finished (but not proofred and FD Approved) version.

Which reminds me that I have promissed to pledge to your book and haven't done so yet... might do that somewhere over the weekend.

Hell of a lot of effort. Perhaps too much, but timing is kind of good. doing a lot of house repairs and stuff so its good to have it off my plate for a bit.

Congratulations! I've just printed out the Alpha and am really looking forward to reading it. I'll try to get something back to you as soon as I can - whether anything I send is of any value or makes any sense, no promises there...

Thank you everyone :) As Steph alluded to I emailed it out late last night to the readers so tonight is updating the website and tomorrow, well tomorrow is anything but And Here The Wheel. I wonder what a night off is going to feel like :)
