My beef was with the heat continuing to rise after canceling FSD which in the past it has settled back down to pre-FSD activation levels. A heat sink would have been nice but at the rate the heat was rising it would have only delayed the inevitable.

It was the shirt, obviously. The high quality used in the expensive materials to craft the shirt trapped too much heat in the cockpit, causing the thermal overload.

I want the danger element upped, I want to be able to vaporise my ship into a planet, instead of the unrealistic emergency dead stop with little damage given the speeds you can hit in SC.

I don't think the people on the planets would enjoy that...

Can you fly into planet in realspace? What happens exactly? (Well, apart from dying...)

Well I kinda got a little upset and did this.

Why on earth are you playing this game with a joystick? Now you have the chance to try mouse + keyboard and see the light (and clear up some space on hope desk at the same time)
