Okay, 1,000 systems out from the bubble, 232 neutron stars scanned, 2 black holes, 5 ELW. My nerves are frazzled through concentration in the neutron fields. I have decided Neutron stars are dangerous little sods, so I am turing round and heading back to the bubble. Its back to scanning main sequence stars for me, at least I can see the damn things. I am also getting a nose bleed as I am so high up on the glalactic plane.
I was hoping to find a binary neutron system....do they even exist?
I should be back in about 3 weeks, when I can post some piccies.
Is it me or does the food and beer have an extra metallic taste in the Neutron fields?

I'm sure there is no flames in hell but neutron fields, they are just wrong and everything feels wrong around them, I prefer a million times white dwarfs fields over neutrons... I think I've scanned binary neutrons before but must check in home to be sure, but you scanned more than 200 and never found one? Perhaps I'm mistaken because I'm not near 200 neutron scanned...

Found a couple of binaries in the neutron fields, so they are around. How common, though, I don't know.

So far on this trip I've scanned 500+ neutron stars systems and I've come across maybe a half dozen binary neutron star systems, and one trinary system.
I've also come across a handful of black hole / neutron star systems.

I'm still 20kLy out and I've used half my A3 AFMU ammo scanning the little darlings.
I'm beginning to worry if I don't stop chasing them I might not make it back !

I'm farming in a class B star and neutron field at the mo. It's beautiful out here.
