And the idiot of the week prize goes to....

Nah, you only get idiot of the week if you flew all the way back to get an SRV without realising there's a starport nearby...

Seriously, happened to everyone of us one way or another...

...me.

For taking the time to build and engineer a long-haul T9, only to realize last night that long-haul trucking isn't a thing in ED. I'm at Mammon wondering what I should do.

Daft!

Recently saw a trade loop route worth 12k/ton out in Kinesi, but it would likely be done by the time you got there.

There are still 9k/ton loop routes with under 50LY travel.

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
When the new mining mechanics were introduced recently I had to go back to the station about three times because I kept forgetting various pieces of required kit. I was livid. :)

It does exist! Operation Ida are currently repairing the starports in the Pleiades and we get a lot of our commodities from long haul (200-400 ly) trade routes!

I've been seen, repeatedly, leaving a station happily with an SRV bay installed, only lacking the actual vehicle inside.

Ooooh yeah, don’t feel too bad i think we all know that feeling. Finally get where you’re going, look down at the panel and... where’s my SRV?? Oh.... well damn.

Oh, been there! Geez; the idea of 800LY used to make me sweat. Then I did Colonia/Sag A*. Now I think "well, it's only another 1200LY so I'll just do that now, before bed". Hmm. I may have lost some perspective....

I’d say “Oops”, but “oops” doesn’t quite cover it.

I once did 14 jumps to find one of those Guardin installation things in space only to discover I couldn’t charge the parts with mining lances. That sucked too.

I know of a certain place, where a certain group of people have contributed to a global email storm.

This is not the first time it has happened.

These are professional adults... and email has been a mainstream thing for nigh on 20 years now.

You haven't come close to winning the award of which you speak.
