ABOUT US

The Angels of Death is a time-tested organization, supporting over 56 major gaming titles in the past 15 years including classics like Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, and Swat 3 as well as more recent titles such as Battlefield, Battlefront II, Overwatch, Sea of Thieves and many more!

  • We have over 3000 active members, so you will never play alone regardless of which of our supported titles you play on any given day.
  • Our Elite: Dangerous division is very active -- we nearly always have members online looking to wing up. We welcome both new players and experienced players alike!
  • We have our own in-game faction in 40 Ceti, we recently received it and are working the BGS to expand it to other systems. The system sits on the border of Federal and Imperial space and receives the 15% LYR discount on all ships / outfitting.
  • We have members into trading, exploring, mining, bounty hunting, BGS manipulation, PVP and many other activities -- such as canyon racing and SRV track racing. Senior members are happy to help new players get started on outfitting ships and understanding the game.
  • AOD’s reputation for accomplishing the toughest tasks under the most extreme conditions is well earned from 18 years of prosperity and cutting edge technology.
  • We’re fiercely against both PVP piracy and PVP murder -- we will avenge exploited victims.
  • Ruthlessness aside, the Angels of Death make excellent trading partners; we have deep pockets and access to the many of the galaxy’s finest commodities.
  • We make great friends, and terrible enemies.
  • Chief among our priorities is maintaining a gaming atmosphere free of drama that all can enjoy. While winning is important to us, so is fair play, respect among members, and courtesy to our volunteer staff.

HOW TO APPLY

Requirements for Membership

In order to be eligible for membership in the Elite Dangerous division, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be on TeamSpeak whenever you are in-game
  • Wear AOD tags while you are in-game
  • Contribute to the forums regularly (once biweekly as the bare minimum)
  • Be both anti-piracy and anti-murder
  • Play fairly and respectfully

Instructions

Before you can fill out an application, you'll need to register for our forums. You can do that by simply filling out the registration form. Once you have created an account, apply to our Elite: Dangerous Division -- consider this as a way for you to formally introduce yourself to us. Once you've submitted your application, it might take a couple of hours for one of our officers to process and send you further instructions.

I'll happily address any questions asked below and well as any questions via PM. Feel free to ask anything about AOD, our application process or general questions you might have about my experiences with the clan.

Greetings!

I've been a member of Angels of Death since August 2015, starting off in the Battlefield Division. I'll tell ya, I've been a member of many many online gaming clans in the past but this is the first gaming community I've had the pleasure of being a part of. There's a feeling of comradery here that, before, I didn't know COULD exist in a gaming community.

It makes me unbelievably happy that we've started an Elite: Dangerous Division and am very much looking forward to meeting all of the new people that show interest in our group and decide to come join our family.

My journey with AOD began in Battlefield in November 2016. Since then I've made a ton of friends across many games, and now that we're investing into the elite dangerous universe I couldn't be happier! AOD is a super great group of people, and even though there's a ton of people on, everyone seems to know everyone else. What's even better, there's always someone else online to game with, even if it's a weird day/time. So good.

Think you could get used to playing with a good team of friends who always have your back? We are searching for new members! We are here to have fun and game and, of course, play the competitive scene. We look for solid people who want to play the game the way it was meant to be played. We're a super fun group and we know how to be serious when needed so we enjoy great success.

I have been with Angels Of Death for 13 years. We have decided to start an Elite: Dangerous division in the hopes of adding our abilities and experience to this community. We have in total over 2000+ members and multiple gaming disciplines. I have met, played with and still have fun with the worlds best gamers. I have been in one guild or clan in all of my extensive gaming career and its been as an Angel. We have applied for Player Group and will apply this weekend for Player Faction and hope you can help us build the best player group in Elite. I joined AOD about 2 months ago and have been loving it. Been playing Elite Dangerous since it came out but took breaks here and there. Hopefully, when the next Dangerous Games comes out, we can compete with the best of them.

We're now up to 25 full time members in our Elite Dangerous division in only two weeks! More to come! [yesnod] Also, our minor faction application has been in for about a week now so hopefully within the next 3-4 weeks we'll hear back from Frontier. Exciting times!

Hey, I'm not a robot and also AOD is awesome. I've been here a few months and the atmosphere is what makes it great. I'm burned out from all the negativity from the rest of the internets. Don't have to deal with that from at least these guys and neither do our opponents.

I am janires (CMDR Janire in game) I've been a member of AOD since 2014, starting off in the clans PS2 division! If you are looking for a great community of mature gamers that has stood the test of time(1999 founded) AOD is the place for you. We are a international multi gaming community! We understand things like real life first which not all gaming communities have a grasp on. We are Newley formed in elite dangerous and are looking for CMDRs to join our ranks and expand out community. You can always find us as stated above until then o7 good speed!

We would be able to train you up if you need the help and team up with you on nearly any profession to share the burden and make the endless sky a bit less empty! Just knocked out another engineer with two wingmates, one more step towards Palin for three of us all in one go :)

Just got back from a 4-day exploration mission...what a dousie! Saving now to upgrade to an Anaconda as soon as I have the credits. I like my Diamondback Explorer, but I want more firepower for when the going gets rough and our friends need help :)
