I just build up my second zoo carefully to figure out why i suddelny ran into the minus so heavyly on my mainzoo.
(That is fixed now mostly, but still i don't think its working like it should atm.)
On a good running zoo we should be able to give our animals the best food.
And considering the numbers the game tells us for the price per feed that should work.
But it doesn't.
I have 6 habitats and set up the price from Grade 2 to Grade 3...
now see what happened with my food costs

I maybe hat a couple of cups in that time, but by no meaning is a 100% jump in food cost possible.
I didn't changed anything else.
Also, the behavior of guests is kind of borked.
Once you get 1000+ guests and they start to demand food and drinks, you build shops...
and thats killing your profit as well.
I had a brimming zoo with good-visitied habitats (high appeal animals like gorillas and elephants), kept clean by 2 caretakers.

Now... the middle path is 10 m wide.
The hordes are sieging the shops, no matter how many more i build.
I have 4 caretakers now, 2 only care for litter, and i have constanty a litter alarm.
The guests only consume food and drinks and don't care anymore for the habitats.
Therefore they don't put money in the donation boxes, which are my main source of income.
The shops don't even seem to make up for the costs they are causing.
It is fine that the guests only come for food and drinks and are happy, but i am going brankrupt that way.
If i turn the food back to Grade 2 and let my guests be unhappy, i can make profit again i guess,
but that is not how its ment to be and is quite frustrating.
