Animal died of old age while in box (because of the constant boxing problem with little animals) and now its just being left there

Anyone run into this and find a fix? One of my Pangolins had apparently been boxed up as they so often are randomly, but died of old age WHILE boxed up and now everyone is just ignoring this dead decaying animal in a box and not disposing of it.

EDIT: Ok after a few years (no joke) one of the vets checking up on the habitat decided to finally clear the box out.

This happened to my warthog. He died - but for some reason was boxed at that very moment of dying and the box just stayed there, nobody was removing the box although I called the vet and waited quite a while... so I shrugged it off and checked back after some time and the box was gone, but don't know how much in-game time had passed.
