Animal escape in the middle of habitat

I have no idea of what happen, but my llama are shown as escape whenever the llama enter the middle of the pond in the habitat . It is very interesting because the llama still continue moving and that llama is no longer state as escape when the llama come out the middle of the pond. Very strange.

I have had this happen as well. My warthogs get near the fence (red brick, checked and NO escape points), and it says they escaped. Happened multiple times.

I have one idea, that the llama entering the lake might be getting low enough down that their hitbox is below the bottom edge of the fences, so the game classes it as being below, and therefore outside, the enclosure. If you select the whole fencing, and extend it into the ground, perhaps it will stop it from happening?

Water tends to confuse the game quite often, not only with animal escape but it also seems to box them up a lot. Water and path also don't go well together. I'll say the water is a little glitchy, but seems better than what it used to be. You should check the Bug Tracker see if you can find your issue and then vote "Me too" or make a new Bug Tracker.

Amusingly, I've had the opposite problem. My mandrills supposedly had multiple escape points, spread all throughout the entire zoo, and never once escaped. It's almost like the game glitched and picked up every climbable object on the map as an escape point.

Same! One specific reindeer “escaped from his habitat” every time he enters the small pool of water I have in the enclosure.
