Now that would be an awesome hunch of options to have, would really love this
Challenge should be where it belongs to - in challenge/franchise (yes, I think it should not be default in sandbox, but at least a choice in settings).May I bump this thread? Dear CMs, please see this. ´Building a completely new zoo since the update that made the market a mess now and it is just SO frustrating and annoying. Please, we need more control in sandbox!

Sandbox Market Decline button / Advanced spawn
In Sandbox mode, you always have 4 animals available for each species. However, I'd like the option to decline an animal and be offered new animals. For example, I want to start my zoo with gold star animals. Or albinos. Or 100% size. Or any other requirement you might have. The way it works...forums.frontier.co.uk

Let us control genes in Sandbox
Since sandbox is supposed to be the ultimate form of control, I think it would only be logical to let people control every gene of an animal such as the size, fertility, longevity, and immunity genes that are present in the market as well as the trait for leucism/albinism/melanism, etc. Like if...forums.frontier.co.uk
If there are technical limits for making an animal creator in sandbox, please, an option to refresh the market before the timer is up would also already do wonders. Still very time consuming, but not as much as with the constant buying and reselling. Plus, if I want to manage in sandbox without supporting dwarfism in animals (really, the lower size gene animals do look weird and not realistic) I would have to spend millions of CC or dollar. Simply not possible.
To those who say they like the challenge of breeding: I do, too! But currently the market is so bad, that you'd either have to have ten different gropus of lions to reach your breeding goal, or start all over everrytime, because you simply can not find a suotable male for your freshly born female that you want to breed with later on.
I usually let them breed and inbreed until they are unhappy, then I sell the worst ones and continue to leave them alone. It gets too tedious to check stats, matches etc. if the animal either dies soon or is too crappy for me to care.Yes, a setting please. I'd like to be variable in my sandbox zoos. In some I also buy bad animals and decide not to breed them. Though, to be fair, I always always look for size 67+

This is amazing.
They really do have awful genetics most of the time. Same for the ones in challenge mode. It's one reason I've preferred franchise, though it can be frustrating when a particular species I want to have in my zoo is not available in the market at all, or there are just a few horrible ones because no one happens to be selling meerkat or whatever today (or this week even).I've clocked hundreds of hours in PZ and I've come across one albino animal in Sandbox mode. That's not in my current zoo but in total. I know they're meant to be rare but I could play Franchise mode and get them instantly and I just want options in the mode that's meant to allow the most freedom and let me choose what I want and don't want.
Also, I don't know if a recent patch did this but I've noticed that lately all the animals in sandbox mode have blimin awful genetics! What's that all about?
Have they? Was I just very lucky when buying Binturongs today or have the genes in sandbox improved with the last update?
