Animal Packs Wishlist

Now we have dlc focused in just animals, I hope we will see that in certain areas of the world that Frontier missed the opportunity to show in the game. I always thought Frontier should release animal packs like dinosaur packs in Evolution.

Now we have 8 animals in south east asian, here are some animals from certain regions of the game we have building pieces.

Africa.
  • Dromedary Camel
  • White/Black Rhinoceros
  • Gelada
  • Secretary Bird
  • Meerkat
  • Ratel
  • Gerenuk
  • Jackson Chamaelon

North America
  • Alligator
  • Puma
  • Moose
  • Wolverine
  • Musk Ox
  • Snapper Turtle
  • Californian Sea Lion
  • Hellbender

Instead of the Dromedary I would love to see a Porcupine there, then it would be perfect :p Maybe a Shoebill as wel.

I would love to join with
White-shouldered marmoset, (White-shouldered silk monkey), (Big-eared brush monkey) * / Mico humeralifer; (Syn .: Callithrix humeralifera); (Syn .: Callithrix santaremensis) * - NT
Occurrence: South America: Brazil (Amazonas, Pará)
Head-torso length: 18-21 cm
Tail length: 31 - 33 cm
Weight: 400 - 500 g

Those Animals you mentioned are cool and all, but I think they are a bit too obscure for appearing so soon, better first cover the more known animals.

Let's be honest, half of all animals are unlikely to end up in the game: D Unless the mod community can do it ^^

You forgot the Secretary Bird, people that don't like the Secretary Bird are impossible to exist in this world.

My take - in order (3 packs per year - figure around a March/June/Sept/Dec release total of 7 more packs (not including the SE Asia one)

Essential Animals - the more I think of this, the more I want it. Just....get it done. Get the animals that really should be in the game, in the game, and lesson the anxiety for those that are like me that suffer from it, for the wait for the region or that the animals won't make the cut. Adding a couple of animals that were surprise exclusions from the Australia and SA pack.

Meerkat, White Rhino, Cougar, Moose, Capybara, Emu, Amur Leopard - Exhibit King Cobra

Europe: Alpine Ibex, Iberian Lynx, Wild Boar, European Badger, Wolverine, Crested Porcupine (they are in Italy so they totally count, Red Deer - Exhibit I'm drawing a blank on this one.

Avian : Toucan, Bald Eagle, Hyacinth Macaw, Scarlet Macaw, Rhinoceros Hornbill, Australian Pelican, Secretary Bird - exhibit: Kiwi - and now, they can put a bird or two in future packs.

2022:

North America : California Sea Lion, Arctic Fox, American Alligator, American Beaver, Coyote, Roadrunner (see what I did there? LOL), American Black Bear. Exhibit: Alligator Snapping Turtle

Africa: Black Backed Jackal, Cape African Penguin, Black Rhino, Fennec Fox, Marabou Stork, Red River Hog, Nile Crocodile. Exhibit: Leopard Tortoise

South America/Australia revisited: Tasmanian Devil, Common Wombat, Kookaburra, Maned Wolf, Ocelot, Scarlet Ibis, Three Toed Sloth. Exhibit: Frilled Lizard

Last pack would essentially be a fan's choice. Maybe they'd set up a vote two packs back, and either discard votes for animals in the previous pack or let people know what that previous pack would be so as not to vote for it. No other theme necessary. MY choice:

Asian Small Clawed Otter, Masai Giraffe, Harp Seal, Rosette Spoonbill, African Grey Crowned Crane, Shoebill Stork, Gibbon (any species). Exhibit: Thorny Devil

While there's more I'd like to see, this would give us.....56 more animals in addition to the 95 +8 more we're getting. That would give us nearly 160 animals in game. I would be extremely content with this. Also noting this would be 14 flying birds (13 if you don't count the Roadrunner), which, while no where representative of the real world, would be a number of flying birds I would be content with as well.

Been thinking about this all day lol. Kind of ridiculous to say, since we don’t even have our hands on the SE Asia pack, but I’m just so excited for the future! Here’s my updated wishlist for future dlc:

  • Amur leopard
  • Bearded vulture
-Eurasian golden eagle
  • Eurasian badger
  • Fire salamander

Hmm... so much potential for more animals with this new DLC format...

=American Animal Pack=
  • Alligator Snapping Turtle
  • American Alligator
  • California Sea Lion
  • Cougar
  • Eastern Moose
  • Nine-Banded Armadillo
  • Wolverine

=Flashback Animal Pack=
  • Musk-Ox (Arctic)
  • Walrus (Arctic/Aquatic)
  • Maned Wolf (South America)
  • Capybara (South America)
  • Emu (Australia)
  • Yellow-Footed Rock Wallaby (Australia)
  • African Penguin (Aquatic)
Ugh... I probably have more, but it's too late to type anymore...

I really like the idea of a flashback pack or revisited pack or something like that, and I think that could be the final dlc maybe, adding the animals that were left out. Also that could be the perfect pack to add the gibbon, the obvious big miss of the southeast Asia pack. And I'd really love the see the walrus as well

After the African Pack which needs to be there I think they should release an all-over-the-world-pack with the most bizarre missing animals this game still needs, mainly:

Markhor, make it happen, this game feels incomplete without it!
Maned Wolf, so many canines, while the most awesome one of them is still missing!
Saiga, the most bizarre of antelopes with its funny looking dust-mask nose.
Platypus, another bizarre animals this game can't be complete without.
Kiwi, really lovely ground birds!
Tasmanian Devil, a fan-favorite, and rightfully so!
Leopard Seal, I don't know if it would be realistic in a zoo, but this is by far the most awesome sea-mammal out there!
Capybara, worlds most friendly animal, the zoo feels dark without them!
Roadrunner Bird, no they won't fly away more than Flamingo's could, these symbols of speed are really awesome, and another bird is always good!
Frilled Lizard, is it big enough to be in a enclosure? I hope so, they are my favorite lizards!
Alligator Snapping Turtle, the only turtle I care about, nasty, big and mean.
Giant Salamander, the only amphibian big enough to be in a enclosure.
Lyrebird, the most beautiful of birds that can copy ANY sound, how awesome! The size of a peacock, so it can be in the zoo with ease.
Musk Deer, Deer Dragula, missed oppertunity with this latest asian pack, would have been better than the Dhole in my opinion.
Gelada, these mountain baboon-like creatures are awesome, I always put them with the Ibex and Markhor in my zoo tycoon enclosures.

And then the ones already mentioned in the African-pack expansion: Generuk, Fossa, Giant Porcupine, Honey Badger, Serval, Shoebill, Secretary Bird, Waterbuck, Red River Hog and Ground Hornbill.

Of Course there are some fish, insects and smaller reptiles as well, but they aren't my main priority to get into this awesome game.

FAVORITE FISH: Cookie Cutter Shark, Any Seahorse, Piranha, Electric Eel, Giant Stingray, Thresher Shark, Airapaima, Alligator Gar, Blue Marlin, Sawfish, Moray Eel, Mudskipper, and Goliath Tigerfish.

FAVORITE BUGS: Mantis (any), Water Bugs, Pond Skaters, Mantis Shrimp, Emerald Wasp, Assassin Bug. Ogre Spider, Trapdoor Spider, Bombardier Beetles, Antlion (but only the larvae), butterfly garden with all types of butterflies and moths.

FAVORITE CAGE BIRDS: Harpy Eagle, African Jacana, Quetzal, Hoopoe, Kookaburra, Kea, Victoria Crowned Pidgeon, Snowy Owl, Ground Owl, Hoatzin, King Vulture, Bearded Vulture, Hummingbird, Waterfall Duck, and Caracara, Pheasants (Lady Amherst, Golden and Blood)

FAVORITE AMPHIBIANS: Axolotl, Caecilian, and Olm, and the Surinam Toad.

FAVORITE SMALL REPTILES: Moloch, Basilisk, Matamata, Chameleons.

In aquariums I also like decorative animals such as starfish, urchins, anemones, coral and jellyfish. Don't forget about the awesome Crown Of Thorns starfish as well.

After you're done with these awesome animals, it's time to give the guest humans some re-skins and more models, they are a bit ugly compared to the animals.

Please make this happen in time, take your time, but in the end have all these present! (love ya anyway, but then I love you even more!)

I want to thank you for other BIZARRE pearls you already brought to the table, mainly, the Giant Ant Eater, Cassowary, Indian Rhinoceros, Babirusa, Proboscis Monkey, Aardvark, Komodo Dragon, Snow Leopard, Gemsbok, Sable Antelope, Okapi, Gharial, Mandrill, Pronghorn, Bongo, Pangolin, Clouded Leopard and Sun Bear.

While the people around me only cared about Lions, Gorilla's, Elephants, Giraffes, Puma's and the usual popular-animals, my little self really adored the more bizarre and unusual looking animals!

The big miss in the Southeast Asia pack is the Musk Deer in my opinion.

The Lyrebird is not only really beautiful, it is also very special, even better than Parrots the Lyrebird can copy ANY sound it hears and replicates it beautifully, some even made the sounds of chainsaws to scare away predators!

An amazing bird, hopefully it will become an animal in this great game! It is big enough so it could become just like the Peacock a bird that walks around and not only be in a small cage.

The leopard seal would be a cool addition, though I'm not sure if there's many zoos that have them, but in game they would be amazing. :) Imagine, some prey-predator display with underwater viewing for peguins and leopard seals, that would be awesome

Well if the game-creators want to keep it realistic the Leopard Seal doesn't stand a chance as it isn't really a zoo animal, but zoo tycoon had whales and whale sharks lol, so it is possible!
