Animals always attacking fences

Title.

No matter what settings I choose (apart from disabling breakouts entirely), every animal will immediately attack the fence when hatched. I've reinstalled the game entirely, nothing helps.

Comfort is at 100% and they still go at it. I had to disable breakouts to even be able to play. It's getting ridiculous at this point.

The framerate is also pretty bad. Sometimes I get a weird fps drop that persists even when reloading the savegame or restarting, corrupting it and making the entire park useless.

You should submit a bug report here and upload your savegame so it can be looked at by the devs.

In the meantime, can you share more info about this? What map/mission? Screenshots of the enclosure? Genetic traits of the dinosaur? What system are you using? This is very strange as even in Jurassic Challenge mode, I rarely encounter a dinosaur breaking out.

Bad frame rates since Update 6 is a known issue for Frontier. The current workaround is go into the Cinematic Mode settings (within Capture Mode) and disable all of the view options. Goat feeders and placeable foliage might also be responsible.

I've never encountered this constant attacking the fence issue before, and it sounds really odd. I suspect that you're not doing something correctly. Echoing what Skawt said above, can you give more context? Mode and map / mission would be especially useful info along with screenshots.

I just thought of something...

Do you have an escalated rabies outbreak that you haven't uncovered? Scan your dinosaur with a ranger to see if there's an undiscovered ailment, then take a picture of it, research cure, then medicate it with mvu. Research the vaccine when it's available.

(Rabies will literally make your park unplayable exactly as you described until you deal with it. Top priority)

This is the only scenario I can think of where a dinosaur will break out for seemingly no reason.

I only play sandbox, challenge mode is too restrictive for me. All jurassic difficulty settings. And the bug is happening all the time in any savegame, new game... It's always active. And no it's not gameplay related. Every dinosaur released will immediately start attacking the fence, even with 100% comfort. The first enclosure you put struthiomimus in and they will immediately attack the fence, no matter the enclosure or map.

Yeah, in your position, I'd definitely submit a bug report. I've never encountered what you're describing. Even in the worst enclosures, there's usually a delay prior to them attacking the fence to give you ample time to fix the problem.

Seeing as you have reinstalled the game, this is just weird. Hope the devs can help you.
