Animals born in real zoo's

Hey everyone! 😄

I was reading the news and I found this great message! It's in german, but we have a new born Okapi in Cologne named "Imani" which means "hope" on swahili.

And one more zoo (Bremerhaven) has new born baby polar bears (twins!!!) who are No. 31 & 32 since 1928. Since 2013 the Bremerhaven zoo had 4 polar bear babys with these two counted... so they are really successful breeding little polar bears.

Blijdorp Zoo had 2 born this year.

Second rare okapi born in Rotterdam Zoo

Rare okapi M’buti gave birth to a daughter. They are doing well. The young remains behind the scenes for the time being, but can be admired via the webcams.

Oh my gosh a baby Okapi!!!! They are one of my very favorite animals. In 4th grade I found an info card about them and I think felt connected to them because of their shy nature. I was able to see on at the San Diego Zoo. Baby okapi made me happy!!
