Animals that only live underwater?

Lots of people want fish but other animals that live only underwater are also important and I hope one day that we will have the fish and animals on the list which are:
1. Giant moray
2. Tattooed moray
3. Red Sea garden eel
4. Blue dotted stingray
5. Manta ray
6. Leopard ray
7. Capuchin ray
8. Curly ray
9. Green moray
10. Zebra moray
11. Seahorse
12. Manatee
13. Leaf seahorse
14. Giant Pacific Octopus
15. Jellyfish of Nomura
16. Lion's mane jellyfish
17. Spider Crab
18. Common starfish
If I forgot an animal tell me?

We learn a lot from each other on these forums. But for the record eels, seahorse and rays are technically fish, they are in different orders etc. however for your suggestions IMO I would include in a theoretical planet aquarium game as I think PZ should have a focus on more coastal/land based animals. Manatee and say freshwater eels id give a chance. Many sea otters live their entire lives in the ocean without ever touching land.

I have to agree, I am skeptical if we'll get complete marine animals. I have nothing against it, I'm just not sure that will be a focus for them. I always suspected we would get coastal and partially marine type animals at some point, and here we have with a penguin, seal and otter.

The only fully marine animal that I would probably want resources devoted to in the game would be the West Indian manatee. I don't think it would require much more than the current aquatic animals in terms of habitat set up - there's no need to have a specialised tank system for them, as an example. You'd basically have their water requirement vastly larger than their land requirement. The only land they'd need would be a place by the habitat gate where the keeper can get in to throw food at their underwater feeder (which would no doubt dispense sea lettuce/vegetation rather than fish in this case).

Fish and the like do occur in zoos, but not often, and more frequently belong to aquarium collections that are attached to zoos rather than as an integrated part of a zoo exhibit. I think Fort Worth Zoo in Texas has a dedicated Great Barrier Reef exhibit attached to their Australia section which is a neat concept but generally these situations are exceptions to the rule. With so many 'basic' animals missing from the game's roster, I'd rather Frontier focussed on filling out our zoos instead of giving us aquariums.
