Animals that went extinct in human histories?

I think the real issue here is that if they put time into these extinct animals they'll have less time to work on the core game and the many, many alive animals that still need to be added. If they fully flesh out the game with hundreds of more animals that all function well and then add some non realistic DLC that can't be used in Franchise mode then I think that's fine. But until then DLC like this would not be fair to players who bought what was advertized as a realistic game.

Hi
I assume that this game will be updated in the next few years.
There is certainly a lot of time for extinct and fantastic animals.

We all have time.

There is NOTHING to be broken over your knee.

The game has so many mistakes now, Frontier, with Planet Zoo, is not alone. No matter what game, no one I have heard in recent years that it runs perfectly from the beginning.

Whether Red Death, Planet Coaster, Green Hell, Sims and so on.
EVERYBODY Errors and problems.

And yet many of the bugs have been fixed gradually.

So always nice with the rest and treat the people but their wishes.

And you do not even want someone shouting that their idea is crap.

Frontier will decide for itself what is feasible and what is not.

Frontier has done a great job NOW and has made a lot possible.
Not like the Sims, where more and more was slimmed down.

Frontier has already put up a great full-fledged game NOW, even if there are problems.

Even if at some point there are animals that no longer exist or have never been.
The game is very realistic.

The animals look and feel real.
The fur structure and everything looks except for a few little things beautiful.
How real!

So no matter what happens, Frontier has already made good on its promises NOW and that can not be reversed.

A big compliment to Frontier!

Hallo

Those animals were realistic enough since they do exist during human history but just disappeared. It's not a totally mythical species like dragons or fairies. It can also be educational if education is what they emphasize on. Nothing wrong on that.

Wait 10 years and you can add Pangolin, Lion and Rhino so you might have some already, a little longer and likely Giraffe and Elephant will follow. All thanks to one country more or less.

Why shouldn't the Players be able to use the Animals in Franchise-Mode?
If they will for some reason do something like this, they should instead make it not possible to sell extinct Animals to other Players

I'm pretty convinced that we will see the Black Rhino sooner or later in game, as we already have numerous decorations for it.
Same for the Jaguar and at least one species of Ibex.

The Dodo of which we have statues already, I doubt it.

After a long histories in DLCs (maybe 5-6 years with 2-4 dlcs a year), I will be okay with extinct animals. Until then the game should use it's "freshness" to please raise awareness to the animals we currently have in this world and we are slowly killing with our life style. Nothing will bring back the Dodo, but Sumatran Orang Utans, Leopards, Spider Monkeys, European Wolfs, Australian sea lion and thousand upon thousands of other animals have a chance. At least, if this world will exist further.

I’m in the same boat with these. Maybe after everything is done but there’s just way too many living animals I prefer instead. I’d rather have a living species of black rhino plus a alpine ibex instead. It’s like if they added a white rhino I’d rather have the southern subspecies simply because technically the northern is already extinct. I know the possibilities of bringing the species back but to me the southern would make more sense.
