Animals, which are rare or almost non-exist in Zoos

Hello everyone! :)
I know, that the Frontier and many of their fans adhere to realism, that only these animals need to game, which are well-present in zoos.

I don't agree with this completely! It is true, that basically, we need such animals in the universe of Planet Zoo, which can be found in zoos, but regardless of that could be a few animals in the game, which are rare or almost non-exist in captivity, since these are special species. IMO, the PZ is a video game where the only limit is the imagination.

I would like Frontier to make these rarely seen animals in captivity for these reasons:
1. Marine iguana:
This is the only marine lizard in the world, also along with the Galapagos giant tortoise we would get an another endemic animal from the Galapagos islands.
2. Borneo pygmy elephant: Yes, Southeast Asia is a well overpresented region in the game, but missing from there a special elephant! This guy are the smallest subspecies of the Asian elephant; its shoulder height is 2-3 m tall and body weight can be grow as 2,000-5,000 kg. Also, the Bornean pygmy elephant are critically endangered!
3. Flightless cormorant: The palette of Galapagos animals (and of course, the birds) would continue to expand, furthermore the only living flightless species of cormorants and vulnerable.
4. Golden snub-nosed monkey: The iconic monkey of China, so I would like to introduce you to my zoo's East Asian section in the game, also would be great animal for a Chinese zoo. This monkey used to run on two legs in the snow, according to some, the legend of the Yeti may have originated the Golden snub-nosed monkey. Also, cute and unfortunately endangered.
5. Kākāpō: We have few bird in the game and we need a representation from New Zealand, also this is a very special parrot species, since the only living flightless, nocturnal, polygynous and ground-dwelling species from the order of Psittaciformes. The conservation plays a big role in the game, therefore, it is not the last factor that it is critically endangered species.

So while browsing animals rarely seen in zoos I learned a bit. Note that my search results only showed for NA zoos so please correct me if I’m lacking info.
Walrus: only 11 are in zoos in the USA, place I used to work rescued one as a calf
Somali wild ass: I had no idea they were that endangered, found in a zoo in Wisconsin. Now I have a desire to add them into game.
Red wolves: found in a handful of facilities that the public has access to and in very few places in the USA.

Reports suggest marine iguanas have been seen in captivity albeit rarely and their dietary needs have proven too difficult to keep up with.

Also, does anyone know if there have been any Tasmanians devils outside of Australia in zoos?
Pronghorns are rarely found in zoos
A list suggests red pandas are rarely found in zoos even though I’ve seen quite a few across several zoos.
Giant pandas are a different story as China is very protective (I’m sure someone else can give a better explanation).
I had hopes for Ethiopian animals such as wolves and geladas but it seems Ethiopia will not allow exportation of certain animals.

I know it’s just a game and we do have some rare to not found in captivity animals but apart of me just wants to keep it realistic.

30+ zoos in Europe.

5 zoos in Europe, but the breeding program for them is still quite new, so I imagine we will see that number go up over time.
I think they got them in San Diego too.

There are many red pandas in captivity. In Europe, you will only see the Nepalese Red Panda, but I believe both that and the Chinese are present in NA. But I guess that list could be talking about the rarer one over there?

I also don't care if an animal isn't in zoos, or is rarely in zoos, etc.

Marine Iguana would top my list.
I would also like Javan or Sumatran Rhinos
Black Caimans are my favorite crocodilian species...Idk how many zoos have them, but I know they are uncommon and breeding is rare in captivity, so I think it would qualify.

For me it's the Francois Langur, also endangered unfortunately.
They live in limestone cliffs, which makes them a possible pick in a Highlands pack to me. And their babies are especially adorable.

Saiga, Shoebill and Leopard Seals, the best animals in the world, need to be used no matter what the anti-crowd is saying, those animals are too special and are kept in zoo's before.

I wouldn't mind an Marine Iguana (the only Iguana I care about) too.

I'm fine with rare animals. I mean I love the proboscis monkey. But I don't want animals that are actively hard to keep in captivity. E.g. the marine iguana or javan rhino. I'm fine if animals are only kept in certain areas like only in SA or austrlian zoos since thats just more of an importation problem. I don't wanna be actively killing an iguana by not letting it live it's natural habitat though.

I really would love to see the kakapo in the game. They are very special and beautiful, the only non-flying parrot and a true unique species. Imagine the habitat possibilities! 😄
Also the Sumatran Rhinoceros, a gorgeous animal, the smallest rhino species and the closest realtive to the wooly rhinos, they are so unique looking!
Frick the realism, i really want more strange and unique animals to the game!

1. Side-striped Jackal. Its unique for being a "jackal" and its omnivorous yet does live in family groups.
2. Sumatran Rhino. The only rhino with noticeable amounts of hair! Plus, I'm for more animals from that island.
3. Saola. It is being looked into for captive breeding and is a beautiful animal, and a good representation of conservation (like the Chinese pangolin).
4. Rat Opossum. I think its adorable and is a New World marsupial.
5. Moonrat. Its a hedgehog relative with to me very pretty coloring.
6. Water Chevrotain. A beautiful creature that is unrepresented in the game. Its relative the Mouse Deer does occur in captivity alot.
7. Walrus. Iconic.
8. Musk Ox. See 7.
9. Tibetan Fox. So unique its a meme.

In a game where you can raise the ground as easy as Avalanche from the X-men, and where humans look like cartoon characters, I think it's easy to give us animals that are otherwise protected.
