I've made this fully operational Viking catapult. It has two rotation modules to complete the animation. 1 rotator controls the arm and this will do a quarter chop leaving the arm vertical. Attached to that is a the 2nd rotator and this has the rock attached for a half chop (the first quarter of which is in time with the arm quarter turn) leaving the rock near the ground once it left the bucket.
Here's the thing. After that quarter chop of the arm, it reverses itself back into position. Looks good. The rock though. That also reverses itself back into position after it's half chop. Doesn't look so good. I tried a full 360 degrees on the rock so that it passes under the ground and goes back into the bucket from underneath. But this animation plays 3 times for every 1 arm swing. The rock throws itself twice.
Any ideas please? Sequencer???
Edit. Tried sequencing. The difficulty is that some animations are just longer than others and the duration can’t be changed.
